Finding a home. Getting across town. Starting a business. Raising a family. Getting your kids to school, sports or the pool. Finding a safe place to leave your bike. Getting a straight answer from City Hall. None of these things should be as hard as they are.

Vancouver residents should know exactly what the City is doing for them and where their money is going. Vote Vancouver runs on a very simple model we call The Vancouver Test. The four elements are:
Does it improve service or meet an urgent need?
Does it strengthen Vancouver’s long-term future?
Does it build public trust?
Can residents measure whether it worked?
If an idea doesn’t meet this test, it shouldn’t be a priority at City Hall.
No Brainers
Some things should just get done.
Open the North doors to City Hall - within 10 days
Free transit passes for youth under 18 - within 100 days
Free bike valets - Summer 2027
Fix broken streetlights - within 72 hours of reporting
Make every timed crosswalk accessible - within 12 months
Fully fund lifeguards to keep them on public beaches - Summer 2027
These aren't complicated promises. They're the kinds of things residents should be able to expect from a City Hall that works.
