Geoff is an entrepreneur, business leader, and former Vancouver Film Commissioner dedicated to building a more vibrant, prosperous, and efficient Vancouver. With more than two decades of experience spanning the creative sector, business, public service, and non-profit leadership, Geoff has built his career by delivering practical results that support economic growth, job creation, and stronger communities.

As Vancouver’s Film Commissioner, and previously as the City’s senior leader for film and special events, Geoff helped lead one of the city’s largest economic sectors. His work has strengthened the local economy, supported thousands of jobs, and advanced clean energy infrastructure, while making City Hall more efficient and responsive.

A longtime advocate for arts, culture, and entrepreneurship, Geoff has also led organizations in the private and non-profit sectors, with a focus on innovation, safety, and workforce development. He brings a practical understanding of how to grow industries, support talent, and navigate complex systems—always with a focus on outcomes.

Geoff is running for Vancouver City Council to reduce red tape, improve transparency, and foster an environment where businesses can grow.
