“Canada and the world are facing considerable geopolitical shifts”
Municipalities across Canada are aiming to identify challenges military families face in the communities they're stationed in with a co-ordinated defence task force initiative announced Friday at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) annual conference.
"Canada and the world are facing considerable geopolitical shifts," said FCM president Rebecca Bligh. "Times are changing and strengthening Canada's defence posture is now a real and urgent national goal.
